Long review
Before I arrived at the Coastal Comfort Motel, I received an email containing a passcode to enter the unit and other information about the accommodation. This system provides flexibility as guests can literally arrive any time after 2 pm, even when it is late at night. Parking was not an issue as I could easily park within the motel ground.
The motel has 2 levels, consisting of, I think, 11 units in total. I could see the ocean from the corridors or shared balconies on both levels. My 2-bedroom unit is located on the first floor. Be mindful of this if you carry heavy and big luggage as understandably the motel has no lift.
I liked the unit very much. Even though it is an old-style motel, the unit was clean and charming. Entering the unit, I was welcomed by a cozy living room. A small dining table is placed on the opposite side of the entrance. The kitchen is a full kitchen, including a cooktop and an oven. A microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery, and cutlery are also provided. As a bonus, I could see the ocean from the kitchen window.
The first bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has a single and a double bed. Both bedrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Coupled with a quiet neighbourhood, I had a restful sleep. I think the limited number of rooms in the motel also helps to keep the place quiet.
I must also add that the wardrobes in the bedrooms and the cupboard in the kitchen are well equipped with things that will make your stay comfy. The Wi-Fi seems to be fast and reliable too.
Not much to say about the bathroom. It is basic, but clean, functional, and meets our needs.
In terms of location, there are shops and restaurants within a short walking distance from the motel. There is a kind of bay about 500 metres from the motel, while the closest beach is about 1 km away.
I enjoyed my stay in this accommodation. If you happen to be visiting Narooma, you should consider Coastal Comfort Motel as a place to relax. Below is a video of the accommodation.
