Long review
This is the fourth time my family and I stayed in this hotel, so my review will be brief. I invite you to read the other reviews to compare the experiences (first, second, and third).
The hotel had a motel-like setting, so we parked our car directly in front of the room. Our room was a standard room with 2 queen beds. Upon entering the room, I could see the welcome gifts, comprising 2 bottles of water and a pair of slippers, on a table. The gifts were rather lame in my opinion. Furthermore, plastic bottles were not environmentally friendly either. The room itself was spacious and had typical amenities. The beds were comfortable, allowing us to have good night sleeps.
The bathroom was spacious. Basic was perhaps another adjective to describe the bathroom. Nothing to complain about though. It was clean and functional.
Let’s continue with the breakfast. Breakfast was served a la carte at the Edge Restaurant, although we could still grab drinks from a buffet table. The menu was exactly the same as our last visit about a year ago. The prices also remained the same. Below was the breakfast menu.
- Toast with condiments / $6.00
- Yoghurt bowl / $10.00
- Waffle / $12.00
- Buttermilk pancakes / $14.00
- Ham & cheese croissant / $9.00
- Eggs on toast / $10.00
- Bacon & egg roll / $12.00
- Bacon & eggs on toast / $14.00
- Smashed avo & feta / $15.00
- Smashed avo & feta with eggs / $19.00
- Omelette served with sourdough / $16.00
- Herbivore (tomato, mushroom, spinach, hash brown, avocado, poached eggs served with sourdough toast) / $22.00
- Carnivore (bacon, chipolatas, tomato, mushroom, hash brown, poached eggs served with sourdough toast) / $23.00
We tried the waffle, buttermilk pancakes, bacon and egg roll, and carnivore. All were enjoyable, and the portion was generous.
That’s all for now. I’m sure we’ll be back to this hotel again in the future, so wait for my fifth review.
