Our four‑night stay at Pullman Bali Legian Beach in the Superior Suite delivered a memorable mix of comfort, thoughtful service, and enjoyable dining. Despite a couple of minor issues, the overall experience was excellent and well worth recommending.
We arrived fairly late in the evening, so we arranged the airport pick‑up service through the hotel. The service was smooth, timely, and reliable, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel.

The lobby was big and nicely decorated. Some artworks were displayed in and around the lobby. The stay began with a small setback when we were double‑charged during check‑in, but the staff handled the situation quickly and professionally, resolving it without hassle. Throughout the stay, the team continued to impress us with their warm, attentive, and consistently high‑quality hospitality.
Upon arrival in the suite, a thoughtful welcome gift was waiting for us. The Superior Suite offered great space and comfort. It is almost like a private apartment (minus the kitchen) than a typical hotel room. It has a comfortable king bed, a separate living room ideal for relaxing or working, and a private balcony perfect for unwinding outdoors. Since we were travelling as a group of three, we requested an extra bed, which the hotel prepared before our arrival. Nights were quiet, the air conditioning worked well to cool the suite, and the thick curtains prevented sunlight from penetrating the suite in the morning, ensuring restful sleep every night. The suite certainly made us want to stay longer.

The suite came with two balconies, each offering its own unique experience. The main balcony, accessible from the bedroom, was generously sized and furnished with seating, making it a perfect spot to relax outdoors while enjoying views of the beautiful hotel grounds. In contrast, the second balcony, accessible from the living room, was very small—just enough space to stand—but it offered a charming view of the rooftop infinity pool with the sea in the background.

The bathroom was large and well‑designed, featuring a deep bathtub, a separate shower room, and a private toilet. Two dumbbells were provided in the bathroom, allowing us to do some simple exercises in the suite. The only minor drawbacks were the slow water flow in the bathtub and one night when hot water wasn’t available.

Breakfast was truly impressive and one of the highlights of the entire stay. The variety and quality of dishes were excellent, offering something for every palate. Some features (I certainly missed some):
- Western dishes such as sausages, potatoes, and chicken bacon (particularly delicious and crispy)
- Indonesian favourites, including nasi goreng, mie goreng, sambals, and Indonesian desserts
- Indian cuisine, featuring options like curries and roti
- Japanese items like miso soup, rice, pickles, and sushi
- A generous cold bar with cold cuts, cheeses, salads, yoghurts, and fresh fruits
- A bread and pastry corner with a good selection of freshly baked items
- A noodle station, where bowls were prepared on request
- An egg station, where eggs were cooked fresh to your preference—omelettes, scrambled eggs, sunny‑side‑up, or poached
- Both indoor and outdoor seating areas

The hotel offers an excellent range of amenities suitable for families, couples, and leisure travellers. Notably, the hotel features three swimming pools: a dedicated kids’ pool, safe and ideal for younger guests; a common pool next to the kids’ pool; and an adult-only stunning rooftop infinity pool, offering beautiful views overlooking the sea.

We also enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the hotel, and the dishes were delicious. Dinner was especially nice thanks to the live music, which added a relaxing atmosphere to the evening. Below are examples of dishes that we enjoyed.

In addition to the pools, the daily Kids Club activities were impressive and provided great entertainment for children.

The main downside was the beach directly in front of the hotel, which was dirty. We went there once and avoided it afterwards. While this is beyond the hotel’s control, it did detract from the beachfront appeal.
Considering the spacious suite, impressive breakfast, warm service, airport transfer, family‑friendly features, and strong hotel facilities, the overall value for money was excellent. Despite a few minor issues, Pullman Bali Legian Beach delivered a consistently enjoyable stay. The spacious Superior Suite, outstanding breakfast selection, excellent amenities and facilities, and friendly hospitality all contributed to a highly satisfying experience. We would gladly stay here again.
